Strict Punishments to Be Faced by Violators of Kite Ban

Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has expressed deep concern over the persistent incidents of casualties attributed to kite flying, despite the province-wide ban in place. In a recent meeting focused on Law and Order, CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the mere act of registering a case against offenders is insufficient; there must be strict punitive measures in place.

Highlighting the urgency of the situation, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has called for immediate action to enforce the ban effectively. She has ordered the initiation of a comprehensive campaign aimed at eradicating kite flying across the province. Additionally, CM Maryam Nawaz has directed concerned authorities, including the Chief Secretary, district administration, and police, to ensure strict enforcement of the ban on kite flying.

CM Maryam Nawaz has further urged law enforcement agencies to take decisive actions to mitigate the frequency of accidents caused by kite flying. The emphasis on enforcing the ban underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring public safety and reducing the risks associated with this prohibited activity.
