The Saudi Arabian embassy officially announced on Friday that it will be donating 100 tons of dates to Pakistan, in anticipation of the upcoming Ramadan season.
The embassy conveyed, “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to present 100 tons of dates to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as directed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.”
Ambassador Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki and Abdullah Al-Baqami, Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief), facilitated the handover of the dates to the Pakistani authorities during a formal event at the Saudi embassy.
The embassy further explained that this substantial donation is meant for the Pakistani populace to utilize during the sacred month of Ramadan. This act of kindness underscores the deep-rooted friendship and camaraderie between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, demonstrating a mutual commitment to generosity and unity.
