In March 2024, S&P Global Pakistan marked ‘Women’s History Month,’ echoing the theme of the United Nations’ International Women’s Day for 2024, “Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress.”
To motivate its employees, S&P Global Pakistan organized motivational talks featuring prominent female leaders through its People Resource Group WINS. These talks offered firsthand accounts of the obstacles and triumphs experienced by women in professional settings, aimed at guiding women newly entering the workforce.
Moreover, S&P Global hosted a ‘Resume Building and Networking’ workshop designed to provide women with the necessary tools to create effective resumes and navigate networking platforms for career advancement.
During Women’s History Month, S&P Global engaged in several endeavors in partnership with its People Resource Group WINS (Women’s Initiative for Networking & Success) to elevate women’s voices, support their professional growth, and address gender equality challenges.
Mujeeb Zahur, Managing Director at S&P Global Pakistan, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s dedication to empowering female employees to overcome obstacles and transform societal norms. He highlighted the Women’s Recruitment Drive as a key initiative of Women’s History Month, aimed at discovering and fostering female talent for future roles within S&P Global Pakistan. Zahur emphasized the organization’s commitment to equality and a diverse workplace that mirrors its principles and ethos.
